Playing for Real

We have to do something to fight these bastards. I honestly think BushCo is gonna drop the Big One. It’s total Projection City with this crowd, they just can’t see who the real enemy is. I still can’t believe Congress hasn’t impeached him. I mean, in a family situation, if Aunt Minnie grows fangs and eats the cat, you’re at least gonna put her in a home, right? And this is oh, maybe 10,000,000 times worse. Most people have no idea, I suppose, in which case we deserve to be bugsplats on the windshield of history.

And since no one’s willing to back the paddy wagons up to the West Wing, I’m going deeper into ART as a primary strategy. Maybe that should be “primal” strategy. Did you hear Al Gore’s proposals on eliminating payroll taxes in favor of CO2 penalties? This is getting closer to the nub. For years we’ve been lied to about how little we could do, how closed our options were, so much so that these days something sensible that’s never been done seems like pure magical speculation. What, cut taxes, penalize pollution, and save our children’s lives? Whoever heard of such a thing??

So check this out. It’s a painting (mixed media) by an artist named PAZ, and I like it a LOT:

“Homo Spiritus” by Peter Anton Ziermann

This opens an invisible floodgate somewhere. ART!!! Now get out there and break some minds. We need to chop a passage open for the good stuff.

Sometimes being old ain’t so bad.
