Who Knew?

in News, politics

I grabbed this from Daily Kos. The image below shows part of a Fox News broadcast that labels pedophile congressman Mark Foley a Democrat. Oh.

Apparently this happened three different times on two segments on Tuesday. Pretty amazing stuff. (Is it 1984 yet?) I guess they figure enough idiots will pick up on this to make a difference in a few races. But Fox viewers were already going to vote Republican, no? Maybe it IS a mistake. If it’s conscious, then we’ve already entered the Twilight Zone, or worse. ["Dr. Goebbels, the President will see you now..."]

Geez. I’m so naive. I thought there was some kind of obligation to the public involved in broadcast licensing. You’d think a network wouldn’t get away with this stuff if we had a real government.

Further proof FOX is “fair and honest” I suppose.

Whoops, I think that’s supposed to be “fair and balanced”…not sure, I only stumble across FOX on the radio at the top of the hour occasionally.

I do appreciate your fairness, John, in allowing this COULD be an honest FOX mistake. (Christ, do you difficult it was for me to juxtapose those last three words?)
