Burrito allegedly used to deliver drugs
A 42-year-old La Madera woman found herself behind bars yesterday after she was accused of trying to smuggle heroin into the Rio Arriba County jail inside a burrito… Corrections officers searched the burrito and found a hypodermic needle inside, the report says.
She was bringing this to a female inmate. What if it hadn’t been inspected and the lady was really hungry?
In other news, a 51-year-old Louisiana woman suffered a concussion when a 75-foot-tall tree fell on her while she was hiking near Santa Fe. That’s right, a tree fell on her. Just fell, with no warning, boom. Man, you have to pay attention around here. Even the trees are vicious.

Whew…perhaps I should rethink this forthcoming trip to Taos !! ?? Nope, with all those great pictures on Foto Feed….just gotta come see it and smell the sage, sweetgrass and pinon’ in the air….but still a weird story, kinda makes you wonder about her Karma….or if she had any coyotes visit, etc HA !
