Spring

It felt like spring today. Mid-40s and half-sunny with good breeze. Spring is a real in-between season at this altitude and lattitude. Kind of like in between fall and winter, only moving in the other direction, with the wind out of the southwest at 40 mph and the air full of dust.

It’s going to get down to 20 tonight, I see. Hell, that’s like spring, too. If it weren’t so late right now I’d plug in the external hard drive and hunt for a photo I took once of hummingbirds at a snow-covered feeder in San Cristobal — on the 12th of May!
