I’m so proud and happy. My honey is at El Monte Sagrado at this very moment, playing classical music of her own choosing on a brand-new giant Bösendorfer grand piano, performing for the assembled dignitaries at the ribbon-cutting for the new ballroom. I hope she has a smashing good time. She looked outstanding in her black outfit, and I’ve rarely seen her so completely in her skin, so to speak. Bodes well.
The Dodge is still busted, so I drove her to the new ballroom with its valet parking area in my ’87 Ford truck. I wore my boots and cowboy hat to let ‘em know I meant business, and the nice young men even let me drive my own vehicle back out into the street.
Give ‘em hell, sweetie. You deserve this gig.

So how did it go for your wife?
Fabulously. She LOVED the Bösendorfer and said the whole scene was “very classy,” all the way.
I’m very glad for her. You too John.
Oh, she’s fired up. Has her own glorious baby grand piano sitting in her sister’s condo in Dubuque, realizes now she has to have it here immediately, which is why we need a place to put it.
Healthy with a capital “H” this is. Huge, too.
