Now that was fun. You can hear me, some new and old friends, and at least three dogs on the latest MyMac.com podcast with host Tim Robertson. Here’s the blurb:
This week is a can’t miss episode with special guests John Farr and Beth Lock. These two have penned some of the best Mac and non-Mac columns, and Tim, Guy, and Chad talk them up for over an hour. One of the host’s favorite shows to date! Plus, David Cohen’s Fenestration, reader email, and Tim gets the Darth back in his iPhone.
One thing I really liked was listening to Beth. It’s been a few years since I’ve seen her, and she comes through very well here. Some of the best stuff happened after we stopped recording, naturally. (Porn name generator?) It was cool to meet Guy Serle via the Skype conference call, too. During the show, the expression “Mac hippie” came up, and Guy immediately locked onto it as a domain name. I recalled that there used to be a MacHippie.com site way back when, and then the rest of the crew joined in. While we were jabbering, Guy did a search, found the domain was available, and registered it. It must have taken him all of a minute and a half.
Say, I wonder if he spelled it like I just did?
