Full Moon

The moon is about as close to the earth as it ever gets during a full moon tonight, and that’ll be the case on the next full moon as well. The gravitational pull is stronger. Since we’re mostly made of water, we ought to feel the tide. The moon climbed up over the mountains some time ago as of this posting. I swear I feel my belly expanding in its direction. Hey, a new excuse.

There’s something else, though. In a couple of days, Pluto will be in perfect alignment with the galactic center, which means a direct line of sight to the giant black hole in the middle. I don’t know about you, but I like that.
