It looks lovely. Why did they tear it down?

We bought an adobe-built in 1978. It was a life dream to have an adobe house. I love it.

The new owner, an obscenely rich idiot from D.C., tore it down to put up what can only be described as an adobe McMansion. It must have cost $350K to build and looks hideous (it’s painted red). He even erected “permanent” tipis that sit on concrete pads…
