Actually got out and went somewhere this morning. My sweetie suggested San Cristobal, where we lived when we first came to New Mexico in ‘99, so that’s where we drove. The last FotoFeed image was a 2001 shot from San Cristobal, and now I’ve posted three in a current series about San Cristobal. There will be a few more, too, all next week. But now I’ve made up the three-day deficit, so if you want to see a side of New Mexico that almost doesn’t exist any more, have a go.
This link will take you to the start of the series, or you can just go to the FotoFeed home page and work your way back.

The Valley Store…that’s too funny. When I first arrived in Taos, I got a job with the Taos News, delivering bundles of papers to stores around the “Enchanted Circle”. This was one of the first stops on the circuit, (about 2 hours into the route!). The job started at 1AM, so there was never anyone here, but I DID encounter a pack of coyotes there one night. (They were looking for Slurpys-so I directed them to Allsup’s).
