Sunshine

Looks like we’ll have some in a little while, in fact.

As my wife was wrapped up in her parka, shoveling the snow from around her studio, she had the thought the sun was coming out. The only thing is, this wasn’t about the weather. That’s the point I’ve been trying to make, and it’s hard to do without sounding like a fool.

Remember, our only real car crapped out over the weekend. We can’t afford a new one but I’m getting us one anyway. Yesterday evening we both sat down and watched “Hard Day’s Night” on IFC with the sound playing through my Fender Twin Reverb. I’d never heard McCartney’s bass lines so well before, and even though I’d seen the film at least half a dozen times, there were scenes I didn’t remember, and in a couple of places, I laughed until I cried.

John,
I watched that too and longed for those days again!
Yes, there was some of the movie I didn’t remember
so maybe those days I long for weren’t that great.
