Snow on April 9th [Updated]

I just thought you’d like to know. It’s also 36 degrees at 7:30 p.m. No, the snow hasn’t been sticking at this altitude, but it sure was coming down hard a while ago. It’s been cloudy and foggy with rain or snow off and on all day. The woodstove has been roaring since I got up.

Spring can’t come soon enough. Uh… hey, wait a minute!

UPDATE: Okay, it’s sticking. Almost midnight now, and there’s about an inch on the ground. Not all that unusual. Oh, and we have hummingbirds now, too! A few, at least. Somewhere I have a photo of hummingbirds at the feeder in heavy snow in San Cristobal on something like the 5th of May…

Two weeks ago. The bluebonnets are still blooming, but the trees are now leafing out.

Maybe the first try was too big?

Hey, we got flowers! All kinds of flowering trees, plus daffodils, tulips, and the like coming out. We also have trees leafing out. AND WE ALSO HAVE SNOW. About an inch out there now, this being written at around 11:30 p.m…

It’s also supposed to be almost 70 in a few days. Go figure.

“First try”? You mean your truncated comment? No, there’s no length limit. Maybe the new WordPress upgrade is acting up.

I had been trying to insert a web image, but I couldn’t get it to work.
It just occurred to me that the host I’m using may have an anti-leech filter activated.

Nope, not the host (where the pictures are posted). I guess the image tag in this comments editor is just a tease.

Well, let’s see…

Nope, works fine. This one is aligned right, obviously. But if you’re placing the image in a certain way, you need to know the CSS classes for this site, which nobody does but me.
