Yup, we voted early today, and I hope you don’t have to ask for whom. In little ole Taos County, over 3,300 people have voted early so far. That’s pretty remarkable, considering the population is only a little over 31,000 souls. I believe the number of registered voters is just under 23,000, but don’t take my word for it.
Now maybe the Obama canvassers will leave me alone. Would you believe that I’ve been contacted four times in person and seven or eight times by phone?

I wouldn’t count on the canvassers leaving you alone this weekend. When I voted on the 22nd, it took until this am (25th) for it to show up in the canvassing tool. And this weekend is a big push.
But that IS the key to getting them to leave you alone. VOTE EARLY!
John
I voted by mail 2 weeks ago. The stupid Colorado ballot was so long that I had to sit with the blue book to try to remember which amendment was which. I am proud to say that my husband and I voted for Sen. Obama, my mama in Midland, Tx (home of the Shrub) is voting for Obama, 3 of my 4 kids are voting for Obama and #4 is only 17 but she got to meet him in Grand Junction then went door to door for him.
New Mexico and Colorado are swing states this time so we are all getting slammed. I’m counting the days until it’s all over.
Encourage everyone you know to vote early or vote by mail while we’re having mild weather. Here in Northern NM, where the voters are 80% Democrats, we COULD have a freak winter storm on the 4th that could greatly curtail voting and leave the state to those Republican voters in the south. And don’t forget those folks in Ohio in ’04 who didn’t get to vote because the lines were too long.
So VOTE EARLY. It will also get the callers/canvassers off your back!
Awesome. Glad they got to you. ;^)
California Obama volunteers are targetting Florida now… we’ve flooded New Mexico, Colorado and Nevada….
