Taos is the kind of place where four grownup men (none of them wealthy or retired) can meet to see a science-fiction movie at 2:00 in the afternoon on a weekday. This is not exactly bad.

I knew I should have mentioned that: the remake of “The Day the Earth Stood Still,” which except for the stupid kid, was way better than I expected. I LOVED the message, and there are some great lines in that movie.
