I thought I would cross-post the ad I just put up on Craiglist. I’m getting better at this, but this one is still too long and silly:

For you non-New Mexicans, “portal” is pronounced “por-TAHL” (Spanish) and means a covered outside porch.
This is it. Let ‘er rip. Got a place to rent? Just let me know.

I will keep my ears and eyes open John – any particular part of town?
I’ve tried positioning ads by location and that doesn’t seem to work, ergo the more specific items in this new ad. In truth, however, there are areas around here I can’t stand, and some that are to die for.
I’ll say this, though: my wife has a nice studio she’s renting near the top of Witt Road and Fernandez. That’s a nice area. Anything near there or on upper Cruz Alta would be a no-brainer, and a place in that spot wouldn’t have to accomodate her piano, since the studio would be nearby…
Otherwise, the new home has to have room for TWO studios, and such a place could be anywhere.
Got it – will keep a listen. My wife is a teacher here in town and will also have her ask around.
What about Penasco or Vadito? I looked at a couple of houses out there; some funky spots…the drive to town can suck tho’…
Surely you jest. “Suck” doesn’t do justice to how hard it would be to get to town. Too far away, absolutely will not do.
Otherwise, not too bad!
