Cafe Loka Otra Vez

in Taos

Had to leave the house for a couple of hours today, so here I am at Cafe Loka on Ledoux Street in Taos. The place has gotten to be so popular, it’s become a not-so-nice place to sit with my MacBook. Too noisy!

Be that as it may, have a look at this:

Will work for hats!

I just finished a website for this fellow, one Doc Thompson, and he’s a very righteous dude. I liked him well enough anyway, but when he gave me one of his hats, he had me for life. He’s a fly flishing guide, and this spring, he’ll take me out for an afternoon of lessons and fishing, on the house. I think that’s just about the coolest thing in the world, aside from the hat. Most clients aren’t like this. Then again, most Web guys aren’t like me.

Ah, the cafe is clearing out. Funny thing, now that it’s quiet, I have to leave!

They were just getting “up and running” when I left Taos. Maybe I’ll drop in for a java when I come to town next week.
