The REAL New Mexico…

I‘m starting a new video series entitled “REAL New Mexico,” and this is the first one, a tour of a giant anthill!

The second is likely to feature the hose from the washing machine in the kitchen that has to be aimed into the sink and held down by a cast iron frying pan whenever we do the laundry, or the disintegrating corral just down the road, or the tires on my neighbors’ roof, or — but you get the idea. Too bad I didn’t have my pocket camcorder when a stray cow wrecked the satellite TV antenna, a dust devil blew several buckets of sand into the kitchen, or when a bear broke the plum tree out front (that happened in the early morning hours, anyway). Whatever. Here you go, then!

Ah, the email new post notification is working! :-)

As for anthills, I’ve seen bigger ones. They just weren’t 30 seconds away from the front door!
