After several brutal winters in a row, my attitude is shifting. With plenty of money and a fine house heated by the sun, a woodpile not buried in the mud, and the proper vehicles to navigate the slop, life is easy enough. On a limited budget with none of the other amentities, it's goddamned hard in this location. I either have to get rich or get smart. I'm glad that I only have to walk to work now and don't have to make the 65 mile commute over the Dallas Divide and up the San Juan Skyway.
