The snow is instructive, however. After several brutal winters in a row, my attitude is shifting. With plenty of money and a fine house heated by the sun, a woodpile not buried in the mud, and the proper vehicles to navigate the slop, life is easy enough. On a limited budget with none of the other amentities, it&#039;s goddamned hard in this location. I either have to get rich or get smart. Maybe I&#039;ll do both at the same time and change my Twitter handle to MauiJohn.</description>

		<description>5 inches on the ground and no signs of stopping here in the San Juans.  I&#039;m glad that I only have to walk to work now and don&#039;t have to make the 65 mile commute over the Dallas Divide and up the San Juan Skyway.  My former van mates were very late this morning.</description>
