Ours had 3 30 amp electric hot water heaters. I kept getting these odd messages that if they leaked we'd be "in hot water". Hubby thought I was obsessing again, fancy that! I had two of them replaced with Titan 50 amp tankless heaters and when the old ones were hefted out, they WERE just beginning to leak. Titan makes both electric and gas, so next time, or if the illegal install is a problem, look at the Titan Tankless Heaters - about $225.00 each plus install.....there's a story about the install though, I won't go into it other than it took 4 days, on and off.
