Well…I SORT of have that already….in Okiehoma…but it’s not warmer today…and supposed to get down to 12 degrees Wed night Thurs morning…and most TRULY warmer places one can’t afford to live anyway…at least the really beautiful places…otherwise they are just HOT and ugly…but mostly it is the open minded – creative people I miss the most….from one side of the law to the other…musician (well, drummer – HA) for many years professionally, then did a reverse Beatles thing and left that to “…join the police department”…yep – fox watching the hen house and all that…but I digress…we Love Taos – and all the things YOU Love about it too….and I know it would be tought to live there…but life can be tough anywhere…so why not there…so again, it is in our plans for “Someday”…and with possible back surgery looming in the new year – someday might be sooner if I have to retire…we’ll just see…meanwhile…keep those thoughts and fotos coming!

No, I’m definitely not trying to keep you out! But it’s a hard, harsh place, and not just physically. Absolutely not for everyone. Sometimes I think a nice little house in the country with grass and trees in some boring, warmer place would make more sense!

If you are trying to keep us out of Taos…it AIN’T WORKIN’ …You just make ME want to live there MORE! But alas….as I have said before, I am stuck living vicariously through you – your Fotos and observations from afar….But….SOMEDAY….(as long as the mountain accepts us) we WILL be there….!! Sometimes “Someday” takes a long time though…..but the plans have been made, and I AM studying your lessons well….so Maybe we will have a chance…..

Thanks for reminding me that unlike here in Austin, not every Walgreen’s is a 24/7 operation. I guess civilization has some perks.
