Time for another FarrFeed movie!
I shot this video while driving my truck (I know, I know…) down the hill from upper Llano Quemado on my way to town. It was a beautiful day today, over 40° F, and I had the window open, which accounts for some of the noise. You’ll get to see the mountains, an old adobe church, latilla fences, a little wreckage, and some stretches of typical “old Taos,” or is that redundant? Oh, and of course our lovely “speed humps.”
There are four clips in this two-minute movie. In the third one, I’m driving down the steepest part of the hill. In the fourth, shot on my return leg, you see me driving up the hill. Pretty elementary stuff, but genuine New Mexico. Yup.

I’ve only been to Taos in the summer and fall, so this was a treat. After reading you for a couple of years now, it’s hard to imagine you living anywhere else.
Hey Greg!
Hard for me to imagine it, either. I just hope I can get us a better house soon, so my lovely wife and I have something more like a real home. She’s getting kinda tired on not having a real closet…
I left my comment on this video before I’d read your post about going crazy and wondered if I’d been unknowingly cruel in leaving it. I’m glad, John, that you were able to accept it in the spirit in which I left it.
NO, no, no! Everything is fine. Going crazy is a great learning experience, and the key to THAT post is the last big paragraph in italics. No problemo!
