Missed me? I’ve been working out major changes for FarrFeed. For all my websites, in fact. Consolidating, restructuring, and redesign, under the umbrella of JHFarr.com. That’s why it’s been quiet lately. But all is well here at 7,000 feet, so don’t fret! Hell, it’s not even cold yet.

Yes, you are missed when your gone to long.
Hey, Frank!
Hard to explain what’s going on here now. I’m corralling my professional life, you might say. Rounding up all those little dogies into a new pasture. There will be a very different approach, and most of the current content of the site will disappear. But blogging will continue and even be more frequent. The serious writing may be behind a paywall or be saved for books. We shall see! But I’m not going anywhere…
BTW, the drawing for that Indian is Dec. 31. I don’t have too long to wait.
On the motorcycle front, I sold my 30 yr. old Honda. We were buying a new car, Toyota Prius, and in talking with the salesman
he mentioned that his father had a bike for sale. The paper work took hours to get through! Any way he asked if I would like to see it. Of course I said yes. It is a 2007 Suzuki C50 Boulevard with only 8500 miles. Has a windshield and saddlebags. It shaft drive, fuel injected and liquid cooled 805 cc engine. Still getting use to it but it’s great on the mountain roads around here. Lots of low and mid-range torque. I’ve had it a month a put about a 1,000 miles on it so far.
When my wife said that it really sounded like a really good deal to her I had to do a double take, where’s my wife and who are
you ! White and Silver, so the silver matches the car.
Not my first choice but it’s was certainly a good choice.
The Suzuki sounds really nice. Already having the windshield and saddlebags is a big plus, too. Surprised you, huh? Gotta watch these women, they’re liable to do anything! I still haven’t learned that.
Howdy
Do remember, por favor, to examine the redirects that you may use after you do the “Consolidating, restructuring, and redesign” of your sites.
While you may wish to reduce the quantum of content, you don’t, I presume, want to diminish your traffic volumes, nor the sources of your traffic.
Cheers

Oh, I’ll have the redirects, all right. I want people with the old URLs to find stuff. On the other hand, the overall traffic from my sites is low enough that I could probably start from scratch and not hurt anything.
None of this is goosing book sales, either, so…
