In Bed [Updated]

by John Hamilton Farr on April 9, 2009 · 5 comments

in Announcements

Massive head cold for the last two days, ribs ache from sneezing and coughing. Posting and FotoFeed updates will have to wait another day unless I get radically better this afternoon… UPDATE: Make that radically better by Friday afternoon. Marginal improvement today. Interesting time, though! Posting resumes shortly, assuming.

AllegraHuston.com Launched

by John Hamilton Farr on March 16, 2009 · 0 comments

in Announcements

I just completed another website, this one for someone whose name you might recognize. Allegra Huston’s new book, LOVE CHILD: A Memoir of Family Lost and Found, is about to be published by Simon & Schuster, and she needed a site before she took off on the book tour. It’s a very simple website, but [...]

We’re Live! [Updated]

Wow! This thing is like a Ferrari, and I only know how to put it in first gear so far, but here it is! There’s so much to do, still. I just had to get this up and running, and I’ll finish developing the site in-place. The main thing is that we are rockin’ & [...]

New Client Site

by John H. Farr on March 1, 2009 · 2 comments

in Announcements

I might as well advertise for this guy: What’s been keeping me busy for the last 48 hours is the new website for ECOBUILDERSTAOS.COM. This is the site that I hadn’t even invented yet on Friday. It’s just a simple thing, hardly any content, but the client wanted me to use his business logo and [...]

Morning Report!

by John Hamilton Farr on January 28, 2009 · 0 comments

in Announcements, New Mexico

Good morning from the terrible high desert! First of all, I just walked outside in 11 degrees F. with full sun and no wind wearing a long-sleeved T-shirt, funky Wal-Mart cargo pants, and a tattered pair of L.L. Bean moosehide slippers to grab a couple of BIG pieces of piñon for the ol’ Ashley woodstove. [...]

Soon

in Announcements

I’m devoting January to bringing the new FarrFeed into being. That means no new websites for that month except my own. Site maintenance for clients is cool, but basically this means “Gone Fishing” for the month, professionally speaking. A working vacation, if you will, only I’ll be working for myself. We also need to find [...]

El Snow & Off to Alamosa

by John Hamilton Farr on December 9, 2008 · 2 comments

in Announcements

I can say “el snow” because I’m just naturally hilarious. Kind of like the builders of the miserable and apparently abandoned Texan tourist trap up in the mountains called “El Lodge,” so help me. So it’s kind of a meme, I guess, if you can have one of those with just two people. Be that [...]

Election Day Eve, 2008 [Revised]

by John Hamilton Farr on November 3, 2008 · 2 comments

in Announcements, Change, Obama

Tomorrow is such a historic day that I’m going to just let go and take it all in. Call it July 4th and Xmas in November. I don’t see how I could pay attention to anything else, regardless. We’ve already voted, but I’m addicted to the blogs right now, and tomorrow is going to be [...]

Voted!

by John Hamilton Farr on October 24, 2008 · 4 comments

in Announcements, Change

Yup, we voted early today, and I hope you don’t have to ask for whom. In little ole Taos County, over 3,300 people have voted early so far. That’s pretty remarkable, considering the population is only a little over 31,000 souls. I believe the number of registered voters is just under 23,000, but don’t take [...]
